Ceramic Coating ,, what is it?
Just like our skin and most everything else, left out in the elements for any prolonged period of time, is subjected to degradation. Particularly from the sun's UV rays. Sap, ranges from tiny particles to large sticky blobs and is constantly raining down on top of our cars.
Like traditional wax, essentially you are placing a microscopically thin barrier between the paintjob and anything that lands on it. Unlike wax, ceramic is silica dioxide (liquid glass). It fills in all the pores of the paint. Then cures hard as diamond. And leaves an additional layer of gloss that is extraordinarily gorgeous. It can be applied to everything including exterior plastic trim, glass and wheels.
Ceramic lasts Years... not months. And that's just one coat. Our process uses two. It's also much harder than the clearcoat your paintjob was provided with. Which means, it's much more scratch resistant. (not proof).
Bugs, sap and bird droppings will wash off easily with no staining. In our GA metro area, some may notice those teeny tiny raised black or brown bumps, randomly sprinkled over the cars surface. It's a fungus that grows in mulch and shoots out tiny balls of sap that stick and stain very badly. Detailing thousands of cars a year the only solution that we've seen that works against it, is the Professional Grade Ceramic Coating. It washes right off. It will feel smoother and dry cleaner. Wash after wash it looks like it was just polished. There is an undeniable difference in the gleam and gloss, of a professionally ceramic coated vehicle. Let us show you how the hardest slickest coating on the market can re excite your driving experience.!
We have a very large portfolio of 100% happy clientele and thousands of before and after's to show!!!
Ceramic Coating and Prices
The main question in terms of cost is this... If you were to wash and dry your vehicle to its best and bring it out into the sun. Are you Loving the way it looks? Would you want to seal that in for 2-5+ years? If the answer is yes than the costs would be as follows:
- coupe $675
- sedan $735
- sm SUV/trucks $900
- full size truck/ lrg SUV $1300
This includes thorough wash, detail emblems and remove bugs, road grime. Detail rims, calipers and wheel/fender wells. Detail step sides, dry vehicle and door jams. Lite clay bar exterior glass and paint to remove any remaining contaminants. Inspect exterior while wiping it down with iso.alc./ water mix to remove any remaining residues. The Ceramic Coating is applied and the vehicle cures until completion. Which varies, depending on brand and type.
...if the answer is no. Then you'll need Paint Correction.
Paint Correction * (is an additional charge)
Buffing, polishing, different words to describe the process of restoring dead, contaminated paint to new.
For simplicity we have three different options based on paints condition: The prices below include the entire paint job.. It may be that you only need correction on some or even a small section of the vehicle. In that case we would evaluate.
1 stage of correction/polish: for when your car is basically new but has light wispy scratches and or you want to maximize the paints full gloss potential.
small car $150 med. car $300 large $400
2 stages of correction/polish: On a vehicle that has not been treated for some time This removes most if not all light to med scratches and swirls and brings it back to a gorgeous luster.
small car $275 med. car $575 large $775
3 stages of correction/polish: When vehicle has completely lost its luster and paint is turning foggy or maybe you have deep scratches from a pet jumping up or tree limbs scraping across the paint. Whatever the reason, if 3 stages is needed, that means we are going over the car 3 separate times, (2-4hrs per stage) refining the clearcoat/paint to its maximum potential, given its situation.
small car $400 med. car $750 $975
